The committee would like to thank all those who came out to the Hot House Cafe last night to celebrate the 45th anniversary of St. Mikes. It was a great night with great food and great entertainment. There were a number of awards given out and the winners are as follows:
Men's Player of the Year: Barry Conneely
Women's Player of the Year: Katie Baldasio-Higgins
Men's Young Player of the Year: Finbar McDonnell
Women's Young Player of the Year: Shelby McAvoy
Men's Sportsperson of the Year: Sean Reilly
Women's Sportsperson of the Year: Jane McDonnell
Dwayne Walsh Award: Paul McElvanna
Gene Hickey Award: Danny and Mary Kinahan
Congratulations to all winners. As was mentioned at the banquet, we hope to see all of you out on Opening Day at Centennial Park on May 30th. Photos of the night will be up within the next few days, and a schedule should be available for the season soon. Once again, thanks to everybody who came out and hope to see you at the park soon!

We will be holding our annual banquet on April 24th, 2010 at the Hot House Cafe. Cocktails will be served at 6:30pm and dinner will follow at 7:00pm. Entertainment will be provided Brian Tyrrell. For tickets please contact Ruairi O'Brien at 416-823-9115 or Paul Loughnane at 647-889-7775.

There will be a players meeting on Saturday February 27 at 3:30pm. The meeting will be at the Emerald Isle Senior Society (corner of Greenwood and Danforth). We will be discussing topics like the Boston trip, recruitment, training and the upcoming season. The last meeting was a very successful first step to building a
stronger team and club and we will be solidifying our plans and moving
forward with your co-operation. Since the last meeting a number of steps have been taken to move the
club forward with the ideas and visions that you brought forward. We
will be updating you on the developments and we plan to keep this
momentum with your help.
